Committed to providing meaningful support to breast cancer survivors and the healthcare professionals who serve them.
The impact of breast cancer can adversely affect survivors’ mental health and emotional well-being. Survivor's can experience mood changes (including depression, anxiety, and anger),changes in body image and esteem, feelings of hopelessness, isolation, despair, and fear of relapse and/or death. The emotional rollercoaster of survivorship however often takes a backseat to the physical health concerns of cancer. It is important for survivors to receive meaningful support for the unique emotional needs that often exist during the survivorship journey. Individual sessions are available to provide the specialized emotional support survivors deserve.
Oncologists, surgeons, nurses, social workers, and physical therapists are some of the healthcare professionals who work with breast cancer survivors. Workshops, trainings, speaking engagements, and organizational practice and program consultations are offered to improve the understanding of emotional needs among survivors and the impact of healthcare delivery on their healing and well-being. We can work with you and your staff on-site or virtually to ensure the best environment for your team.
